Bio: 
William is the child of Matthias Argent, former general of Alberal, and Lillian Rose, one-time savior of the world - but for a long time, he thought his mother was Elizabeth Argent, the wife of Matthias (who, he was told, died in childbirth - the circumstances of her death aren't known to him). He grew up a quiet and studious child who often went on trips with his father to learn more about Alberal and do other things like hunt or fish.

His life changed when he was merely nine; he didn't understand what was going on, but his father was arrested and he was taken away from his home to live with Micheal Rose, a friend of the family and the new Alberalian General. And even as young as he was, he could tell people were looking down on him from then on for reasons he couldn't figure out. He withdrew a little more into his shell and stayed quiet and out of the way, spending his days reading and occasionally playing with Micheal's daughter Kennedy.

When he turned eighteen he joined the army, but was stuck in a desk position for two years. Whether it was because of his family's reputation or Micheal just trying to protect him, he didn't know, but he tired of it and quit when his service was up. He had inherited his family's fortune by then and returned to the Argent estate, where he spent his days in quiet contemplation away from the world. And he stayed that way for a full decade, out of the eyes and hopefully the minds of the people who jeered the Argent name, until he decided that he couldn't keep living that way and set out on a journey.

If nothing else, William was going to redeem the Argent name's honor.
